“Leading a double life can be exhausting”: Is TikTok art teacher “Matt Taylor” actually just Kevin James?
There’s a Kevin James lookalike named Matt Taylor going viral on TikTok, and the Internet is convinced it’s James doing a bit. Earlier this month, a man claiming to be named Matt Taylor joined TikTok to share his life as a 4th-grade art teacher.
On one hand, there’s plenty of evidence that could really be a teacher. There are videos filmed in actual classrooms with students. You can also see Taylor making art, which is pretty good.
On the other hand, he looks AND sounds exactly like the King of Queens star.
“Oh, hell no”: Community outraged at HOA’s letter about banning “outsider” trick-or-treaters for Halloween
The note began, “As we prepare for Halloween, the [redacted] HOA board would like to address an ongoing concern that has affected the quality of our neighborhood’s celebration in recent years.”
It quickly set a serious tone and read, “Our community has long taken pride in offering a safe, charming, and well-organized Halloween experience; something that unfortunately has attracted large groups from outside neighborhoods.” According to the HOA, outsiders “crowd our streets, and diminish the experience for our own children.”
Gamers noticed anti-homeless benches in “Pokémon Legends: Z-A,” and people are weirded out: “Indoctrinating the kids”
A new Pokémon game is getting criticized over the discovery that it includes anti-homeless benches. Ray Narvaez Jr (@ray.narvaezjr) was streaming on Twitch recently while he played Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which came out on Nintendo Switch earlier this month.
As he was scoping out the world, he realized something jarring. “Aren’t these…like, the benches to prevent homeless people from lying on the benches?” he asked as his avatar stood in front of two park benches designed with armrests sticking up and dividing the seating area into thirds.
