“Waste of space”: The Pentagon apparently installed a Pokémon collector card vending machine in its food court
According to a Reddit post on the r/army subreddit, the Pentagon installed a pricey Pokémon card loot box in mid-December. The vending machine, which promises rare collectibles, was placed inside the Pentagon’s main food court.
Thanks to a company called Lucky Box Vending, visitors can pay for a shot at gacha-style memorabilia. The machine dispenses everything from Pokémon and sports cards to jerseys, but the options are all randomized, so it becomes more of a gambling game based on pure chance.
“As in Puck Puck???”: One of the first-ever villains on the “Real World” returns as a TikTok cook
The notorious villain from an early season of the Real World is back as a TikTok cooking show host, and he hasn’t changed much since 1994. The man known as Puck still wears faded jeans, keeps in touch with former MTV cast members, speaks his mind, and eats peanut butter with his fingers.
Why “vagueposting” exploded on social media and why people already want it gone
The “vagueposting” phenomenon has taken over X, turning timelines into a never-ending scroll of half-sentences and users insisting you “won’t like the answer.”
The trend kicked off after one cryptic water bottle tweet in late December racked up tens of millions of views, proving that saying almost nothing can generate massive engagement.

Wow, the Pentagon's new Pokeman machine really stood out. Talk about a fascinating budget priority! I'm curious, how exactly does the gacha gambling aspect fly on federal property? That feels like a complex policy corner to navigate.
