Trump quietly abandons all-caps tirades after Newsom’s trolling spree
For years, President Donald Trump has leaned on all-caps social media posts to grab attention online. However, that changed after Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) began mocking the president’s style in dozens of posts interspersed among his regular missives.
His post racked up more than 6.3 million views and earned widespread attention. It even borrowed Trump’s signature tone: exaggerated capitalization, boasts about “beautiful maps” and “taking back the house,” as well as the classic send-off of “Thank you for your attention to this matter!” It didn’t take long before Trump noticeably toned down his signature posting style.

A briefly TikTok famous and very old hamster passed away just as the internet was falling in love with her. Her owner first started posting about her in June, and by the end of July, the era of Grandma Bambi was over.
Fans were devastated, especially those who had only just heard about her.
“Congrats on making Fahrenheit 451 a reality!”: People are bragging about “reading” hundreds of books—but it’s just AI summaries
An app that claims to let people read tons of books in a short time with the help of AI has people on social media banding together against it.
A recent viral TikTok wasn’t actually about the love of reading at all. It was pushing an AI-based app that summarizes books so that you can get the highlights without any actual appreciation for the work itself. In other words, it’s SparkNotes, but worse.
